The material used for this craftwork is aluminum foil. There are many existing techniques for how things can be done, but once you start working, ideas keep coming up. The motif can be transferred to the foil using a special needle-punching technique, and there are several ways to accentuate the details as seen in the picture – by lightly ejecting the foil from the top and then from the bottom. After finishing the work on the painting, the foil is filled with wood glue, to fill all the projections and to reinforce the foil. After drying, a special tool is used to add some patina to the painting and the artwork is then ready for framing.
